• Posted a 5-7-3 record leading the team in saves (54, 3rd-HL), shutouts (2, T-4th-HL), goals against average (1.62, 8th-HL) and saves per game (3.60, 6th-HL).
• Two-time Under Armour® #HLMSOC Defensive Player of the Week recipient
• Was outstanding in goal making a career-high eight saves leading the Titans to a 3-1 win over RMU to clinch a spot in the #HLMSOC Championships earning his second HL Defensive Player of the Week award.
• Picked up his fourth win at WSU with three saves
• Earned his first HL Defensive Player of the Week award after picking up his second and third consecutive win in goal helping the Titans to a 2-0 mark for the week. He made three saves while holding the opponent off the board in the second half for the second consecutive game in a 2-1 win over Eastern Illinois (9/19). Tews followed that performance posting his first career shutout and third career win making five saves helping UDM to an important 1-0 #HLMSOC road win over Northern Kentucky while not allowing a goal in 160.99 total minutes.
• Picked up his first career win in goal making three saves while keeping CSU off the board in the second half en route to the Titans’ first #HLWSOC win of the season.
