Personal

• Son of Mitzi Johnson and Ronny Johnson
• Has an older and two older sisters
• His cousin is former Titan standout Wilbert McCormick, who played from 1977-80 and is second in school history with 611 assists
• Has two cousins who played men's college basketball in Xavier Johnson (Colorado State) and Raquan Battle (West Virginia)
• Has another cousin in Morgan Tuck (Connecticut) who won four NCAA titles and would play in the WNBA, winning a championship with the Seattle Storm in 2020
• Chose Detroit Mercy because he believed in the new coaching staff and the education
