• Made his collegiate at the SVSU Classic and clocked a time of 8:56.76 in the 3,000m for 16th
• Finished fourth in the 3,000m (8:37.91) at Grand Valley and fifth in the 5,000m (14:57.52) at Akron
• Set a season-best in the mile with a run of 4:20.53 for 17th at Michigan's Silverston Invitational
• Posted a pair of season-lows in the Horizon League Championships, tallying a 14:56.17 for 12th in the 5,000m and 8:35.26 for 14th in the 3,000m

• Lettered in swimming and diving, cross country and track and field
• In cross country, he helped his team to a pair of regional championships
• Was All-State as a junior and senior, the Catholic League champion as a senior and All-Catholic as a sophomore, junior and senior 
• In track and field, he was All-State in the 1600-meters as a junior and senior and in the 3200m as a junior
• All-Catholic champion in the 1600m three times and was also a three-time state qualifier
• A member of the National Honors Society
