2026 Outdoor:

• Earned fifth in the 100m in 10.87 and was on the second-place 4x100 at Oakland's Golden Grizzlies Invite
• Ended fourth in the 100m with a time of 11.03, fifth in the 200m in 22.25, and ran a leg on the second-place 4x100 at the Chippewa Challenge
• Tallied a time of 22.53 in the 200m for fourth and was part of the third-place 4x100 at Oakland's Elaie Leigh Invite
• Took part in the seventh-place 4x200 and 11th-place 4x100 at the Drake Relays
• Ended his rookie season by posting a couple of season lows with a time of 10.81 in the 100m for third, ninth in school history, and 21.77 in the 200m for third, seventh in the Titan record book, as well as running a leg on the third-place 4x100 that posted the fifth-best time in school history at 41.55

2025-26 Indoor: 

• Made his collegiate debut at Notre Dame's Blue & Gold Invite, taking 19th in the 200m in 22.69 and 25th in the 60m in 7.09
• Tallied a season-low 7.05 in the 60m prelims and was fifth in the 200m in 22.61 at the SVSU Classic
• Placed fourth in the 200m in 22.90 and was part of the fourth-place 3:38.71 at EMU's Bob Parks Memorial
• Finished ninth in the Horizon League Championship prelims in the 60m in 7.13 and the 200m in 22.71

Prior to Detroit Mercy:

• Earned letters in basketball and track and field
• Tabbed the team's MVP as a senior
• Was All-State twice in the 4x400 and a regional champion in the 100-meters as a junior
• Helped his squad set school records in the 4x100, 4x200, and 4x400
• Ran club with Elite performance

Personal:

• Son of Latonya and Ed Carter
• Has two younger brothers and a younger sister
• Chose Detroit Mercy because it seemed like a very nice school, and it gave me the chance to be able to compete in the sport he loves
