Tallied the most points for the team for three straight years
Was All-State on the 4x400-meter relay as a junior and senior and All-State in the 110-meter hurdles as a senior
Won the 300mH at the regionals as a senior and also ran the 400mH at the New Balance Nationals
Ran club with the Motor City Track Club and was a four-time All-American

His dad won 10 Horizon League titles between the long jump and triple jump as a Titan and helped the team to a share of the conference championship as a senior on the 2003 HL Outdoor Championship team
