ADMISSION

All fans entering Calihan Hall, with the exception of children age two (2) and under, must have a valid ticket to gain admission for ticketed events.

ALCOHOL POLICY
Alcohol is strictly prohibited in Calihan Hall except in the Titan Club Room. Inebriated individuals will be denied admission, and any attempt to bring alcohol into the facility may result in ejection from Calihan Hall. Also, anyone caught in possession of alcoholic beverages will be removed from the arena. No refunds will be given in any of these cases.

ANIMALS
Animals are not allowed inside Calihan Hall with the exception of service animals and service trained animals for guests with disabilities.

ATM'S
There is no ATM in Calihan Hall. The closest ATM is located in the Student Union in the center of campus (1st floor).

BAG SEARCH
All bags entering Calihan Hall are subject to search upon entry by law enforcement officers or event personnel. Guests are encouraged to return unauthorized items to their vehicles. Detroit Mercy cannot safeguard items which are not permitted into the arena. This policy is in effect for all guests who visit Calihan Hall.

BANNERS, FLAGS, &SIGNS
Signs must be handheld, event-related, in good taste, and cannot obstruct another guest's view. They may not contain commercial messages, logos, or political endorsements. Game management reserves the right to confiscate signs that are in violation of athletic department policy.

BIRTHDAYS WITH TOMMY TITAN!

All you have to do is call 313-993-1700 ext. 7364 to schedule your birthday party today, or stop by the Calihan Hall ticket office, during regular business hours (9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday).
 
*A minimum of 10 people are required for all birthday packages. Tickets are upper general admission seating.

BOTTLES & CANS
Patrons are not permitted to bring in glass or plastic bottles, cans, or any other beverage containers. Coolers are also prohibited from entering the arena.

BROADCAST
For information on television and internet broadcasts, please visit contact the Detroit Athletic Communications at 313-993-1745.

CAMERAS
Video cameras are strictly prohibited inside of Calihan Hall and any guest in possession of one will not be permitted entry into the arena. Still cameras are permitted; however, flash photography is prohibited as it has the capability to interrupt play.

CELLULAR PHONES
The use of cellular phones is permitted inside Calihan Hall. Game management encourages all fans to be considerate to their fellow fans when using their cellular phone.

CHILDREN'S TICKETS
Children age two and under do not require a ticket to enter Calihan Hall. The un-ticketed child must sit on their parent or guardian's lap during the game or event.

COMPLIMENTS, COMPLAINTS, and COMMENTS (C3)
Any feedback from visitors of Calihan Hall can be expressed to the game management staff by visiting the Fan Services Booth located in the southeast corner of the Calihan Hall. This booth opens one hour prior to tip and remains open through the start of the second half.  Fans with feedback after the start of the second half may speak with any uniformed event staff member or may submit their feedback to GoTitans@udmercy.edu.

CONCESSIONS
Concession stands are located in the north lobby, southwest corner and southeast corner of the arena. All concession stands at Calihan Hall take cash, debit card, and credit card (Mastercard, Discover and American Express).

DISABLED GUEST ENTRANCES
All of the entrances into Calihan Hall are accessible to our guests with disabilities.

DISABLED GUEST RESTROOMS
Accessible rest-rooms are located in the north hallway of Calihan Hall located between stairwell 11-13.   All accessible guests are encouraged to utilize these facilities. If a disabled patron needs assistance getting to a restroom, please notify the nearest event staff member or law enforcement officer.

DISABLED GUEST PARKING
All accessible parking is located directly outside of the north entrances of Calihan Hall for ease of arena entry by our accessible guests. These spaces are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. An accessible drop-off zone will also be located directly outside of the northeast entrance of Calihan Hall.

All parking lots will open one and half hours prior to the start of the game.

DISABLED GUEST SEATING
Calihan Hall offers ADA accessible seating in the lower bowl corners of the arena. Each ADA seat is positioned next to an additional chair reserved for the accessible fan's companion. A limit of one companion to each disabled fans is enforced.

ED & BROOKS ROOM – HOSPITALITY ROOM
The Ed & Brooks Room is a private reception room located between stairwell 5 and 6 on the second level in Calihan Hall.  Any groups interested in renting out the space prior to a home basketball contest should contact the Titan Athletic Department at 313-993-1700.

ELEVATORS
There are no elevator services within Calihan Hall.

EMERGENCIES
In the event of an emergency please contact the nearest event staff member or law enforcement officer. You may also visit the Fan Services Booth for emergency assistance. In the event of a large-scale emergency, information and instructions will be read over the public address system. All police and university administrators positioned in Calihan Hall are trained to assist patrons in the event of an emergency.

Calihan Hall contains has (3) entrances used for events – northeast, northwest, and southwest.

ENTRANCE OPENING TIMES
The entrances of Calihan Hall open one and a half hours prior to tip-off for men’s basketball and an hour prior to a women’s basketball game.

FIRST AID
First Aid is provided in the northwest corner of the arena in the athletic training room. If an accident or emergency occurs and assistance is needed, find the nearest event staff member of law enforcement officer.

Sports Medicine staff will have one doctor in the arena for any emergencies. If emergency dictates, the Doctor in the arena will be alerted.

GROUP TICKETS
For information of group sales and outings to a Titan Basketball game or other athletic event, please contact the ticket office at 313-993-1700.

JUNIOR TITAN CLUB
The Junior Titan Club is a program targeted at youth.  All students 13 and under are eligible to participate and receive a general admission season ticket to all men’s and women’s basketball games as well as are admitted to other sporting contests courtesy of the Athletic Department.  Students interested in learning more about the program should contact the Detroit Titan marketing department at 313-993-1700 ext. 7364.

LOST & FOUND
The lost and found at Calihan Hall is located at the Fan Services Booth in the southeast corner. Once this booth closes after the start of the second half, please contact the ticket office, located inside the main administrative offices in the northeast lobby for lost and found needs. Detroit Mercy cannot be held responsible for damage sustained to lost or misplaced items.

LOST CHILDREN & GUESTS
Lost children and guests should report to the Fan Services Booth located in the southeast corner of Calihan Hall or to a designated event staff member or law enforcement officer.

LOST OR STOLEN TICKETS
Fans who need to replace their lost or stolen tickets should contact the Detroit Titans ticket office located either at Calihan Hall or call 313-993-1700 ext. 7301. 

MASCOT APPEARANCES
For information on having Tommy Titan visit your party, function or outing, please contact Detroit Mercy Athletic Marketing Office at 313-993-1700 ext. 7364.

MEDIA ENTRANCE/WILL CALL
The media entrance is located at the northwest entrance of Calihan Hall. If a credential is being picked up, please be ready to present a photo ID. To request a credential, contact the Detroit Mercy Athletic Communications Department at 313-993-1745 or email Director of Athletic Communications P.J. Gradowski at gradowpj@udmercy.edu.

MERCHANDISE

NATIONAL ANTHEM
Individuals interested in performing the national anthem before a Detroit Mercy sporting event should contact the marketing office at 313-993-1700 ext. 7364.

ON-COURT ACCESS
Only those with the proper credentials will be permitted on the court before, during and after an event at Calihan Hall. Anyone without the proper credential will be removed from the court and also subject to ejection from the arena and possible arrest.

PARKING
For home Titan men’s basketball contests, the cost for general event parking is $5 per vehicle. Season long express parking lane passes are available for purchase through the Titan Ticket Office at 313-993-1700.

PLAYER GUEST WILL CALL
Player Guest Will Call for men’s and women’s basketball is located at the northwest entrance of Calihan Hall. Photo identification is required to pick up player guest will call tickets.

PROHIBITED ITEMS & BEHAVIOR
Detroit Mercy and the Horizon League promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation by supporting the participants and officials in a positive manner. Profanity, racial or sexist comments or other intimidating actions directed at officials, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the site of competition. Out of concern for the safety of our Guests and staff and student-athletes, the following is prohibited:

• Umbrellas
• Tripods
• Alcohol
• Pets
• Ballons
• Flash/Video Cameras
• Firearms
• Outside Food/Beverages
• Ice Chests
• Smoking
• Strollers
• Artificial Noisemakers

It is encouraged that patrons return prohibited items to their vehicles as the Detroit Mercy Athletic Department will not safeguard these items for the duration of the event.

PROMOTIONS
All on-court promotional activity, discounted ticket prices and other promotional activity is coordinated though the ticketing and marketing department. For information on sponsoring a promotional activity or give-a-way items on a gameday, please contact the marketing office at 313-993-1705.

PUBLIC ADDRESS
The public address system at Calihan Hall is reserved for announcement of on-court game action, promotional and advertisement activity and emergency situations. It shall not be used for appeals over the air except in extraordinary cases. Game management shall reserve the right to deem a situation as extraordinary.

QUESTIONS
Any outstanding question not already answered in this guide should be directed to the Athletic Facilities and Operations Office at Calihan Hall at 313-993-1700.

RESTROOMS
Restrooms are located in the north hall, southeast corner, and southwest corner of the arena Diaper changing stations are located in the north lobby restrooms. ADA restrooms are located in the north hall.

SMOKING
For the enjoyment of our guests, smoking is not prohibited anywhere in Calihan Hall. Guests may exit the arena to smoke. Re-entry is permitted at northeast entrance ONLY.

STROLLERS
Strollers are not permitted inside the arena of Calihan Hall. To store your stroller during the game, please speak with the Fan Service Booth. Detroit Mercy shall not be responsible for lost or damaged strollers held during the game. All guests are encouraged to return strollers to their vehicles.

STUDENT SEATING
Student seating is located in SECTION 313 bleacher located in the north lower level end zone. A valid Detroit Mercy student ID is required for student entry.

TELEVISION BROADCASTS
Games that are televised are noted on the basketball schedule page. Most home men’s and women’s basketball games are streamed live on ESPN3.com

TICKETS
The Detroit Titan Ticket Office is located in the main athletic office of Calihan Hall and is open Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m., to 5:00 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased at online at the Titans Ticket Center. Ticket call in requests can be made at 313-993-1700.

TICKET EXCHANGE PROGRAM
Season ticket holders who are unable to attend a home basketball contest may exchange their game ticket for a future regular season game (based on availability).  Contact the Detroit Mercy Ticket Office with questions or requests.

TICKET OFFICE OPERATIONS
The Detroit Mercy Ticket Office conducts ticketing for six of the Titans varsity sports: men's & women's basketball, men's & women's soccer and men’s & women's lacrosse. Attendance to all other home varsity events is free to the public for regular season contests. The ticket office also handles post-season tournament ticket requests.

TICKET POLICY
All season ticket holders are responsible for their conduct as well as the conduct of their guests and persons occupying their seats. Violations, by season ticket holders or anyone, may result in revoked account privileges without reimbursement to the season ticket holder at the discretion of Detroit Mercy Athletics.

TICKET REPLACEMENT
For information on replacing lost or stolen tickets to an event at Calihan Hall, please contact the Detroit Mercy Ticket Office directly at 313-993-1700.

TICKET SCALPING

The resale of tickets in the area of Calihan Hall to events at the arena is strictly prohibited. Failure to comply with this policy may result in arrest or other disciplinary actions.

TITAN CLUB
The Titan Club is organized to support and boost the accomplishment of high standards of intercollegiate athletics at Detroit Mercy. The Titan Club has three goals:

Goal #1: The Club shall encourage and recognize the achievement of excellence and sportsmanship in all endeavors of intercollegiate amateur athletics.

Goal #2: The Club shall promote social and formative activities among its members and between the membership and all persons associated with the Detroit Mercy Athletics Department. The club shall strive to increase its membership base each year.

Goal #3: The Club shall contribute financially to the welfare of the Detroit Mercy Athletics Department.

TITAN CLUB ROOM
The Titan Club donor room is located at the top of stairwell 6 in Calihan Hall. Titan Club donors are able to visit the room prior to, during halftime and following all men’s basketball home contests. The room opens one hour prior to tip and remains open one hour following the completion of the contest.  This is the only location in the building in which consumption and purchase of alcohol is permitted.  If you have an interest in joining the Titan Club, please contact Assistant Athletic Director for Development Michael Miller at 313-993-1700 or at michael.l.miller@udmercy.edu.

VIDEO CAMERAS
Video cameras are not allowed inside to Calihan Hall and no storage will be provided for them. The use of video capable cell phones is also prohibited. Any unauthorized use of video cameras will be grounds for ejection from the arena.

Wheelchairs are not provided at Calihan Hall and any guest requiring the use of a wheelchair must provide their own use during the game or event.
