  • After missing his freshman year due to an injury, he came back as a sophomore to play in 22 games and posted 2.5 points and 2.4 rebounds, putting in a career-high 10 points against St. Joseph's
  • His career high in boards came last season with six at Cincinnati

High School
  • As a prep, he registered 11.6 points, 9.2 rebounds and 1.3 blocks as a senior at the Phelps School in Malvern, Pennsylvania, shooting 56.0 percent from the field and helping his team to a 21-12 record
  • Prior to transferring to the Phelps School, he played for Springfield (Mass.) Commonwealth Academy from 2014-17

  • His older brother is Omari Spellman, BIG EAST Freshman of the Year who helped lead Villanova to the 2018 NCAA National Championship before getting drafted into the NBA by the Atlanta Hawks and his sister is Taiyier Parks, a senior on the Michigan State women's basketball team
