University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball head coach Ray McCallum has announced an addition to his staff as former Titan Jordan Fee was named a graduate assistant coach.

"Jordan is an enthusiastic young man with a great work ethic," said Coach McCallum. "He is very dedicated and will be a great fit for our staff as we continue to build a championship program."

Most recently, Fee served as a graduate assistant coach at Clarion University, where he was responsible for all strength workouts, on and off campus recruiting, game and practice preparation, scouting reports, and online game film exchange.

Before joining Clarion, Fee was the Associate Director of Basketball for Camp Greylock, where he developed and oversaw an eight week basketball development curriculum for the Northeast's preeminent residential summer sports camp for boys.

Fee got his first taste of coaching as a student assistant at West Liberty University where he helped guide his alma mater to a 34-2 overall record and a unanimous No. 1 ranking in the final national poll. The Hilltoppers won the WVIAC regular season and Tournament Championship, before moving on to reach the NCAA Division II Final Four and National Championship game.

Fee played two seasons under West Liberty legendary head coach Jim Crutchfield, who has a 272-49 record with the Hilltoppers. In Fee's two seasons at West Liberty, the Hilltoppers finished with a combined record of 65-4 and a trip to the Final Four.

Before finishing his playing career at West Liberty, Fee played two seasons with the Titans where he started as a walk-on guard in 2008 and saw action in 24 games as a freshman. Following his sophomore year in Detroit, Fee received the William Ebben Academic and Athletic Excellence Award and was named to the Horizon League Fall Academic Honor Roll.

Fee earned his bachelor's degree in physical education and health education in 2013 from West Liberty and began his master's degree in mass media arts and journalism at Clarion.
