Played with Team USA at the World University Games in Shenzhen, China ... the Americans went 7-1 at the tournament and took home 5th place ... played in all eight games, averaging 4.5 points and 0.9 assists in just over 10 minutes per contest ... only turned the ball over twice the entire tournament ... made all five free throws ... enjoyed best game against Finland (9 pts, 2 rbs, 2 asst).
2010-11:

The son of UDM head coach Ray McCallum and one of the most highly-recruited players in school history, as well as in the country, yielding scholarship offers from Arizona, Florida, Oklahoma and UCLA ... Earned national accolades in being named to the McDonald’s and Parade All-American Teams in 2010…Averaged 22.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists as a senior and was named to the Detroit Free Press’ and Detroit News’ All-State Dream Teams…Also honored as the Class B Player of the Year, while finishing third in the balloting for Michigan’s Mr. Basketball…As a senior in the state championship game, he led the Yellowjackets to a state title scoring 32 points, 25 in the first half, along with grabbing eight rebounds and coming away with seven steals in a lopsided 71-47 victory over Lansing Sexton… Netted four points, pulled down two boards and had three assists, with no turnovers, and a steal at the 2010 McDonald’s All-American game, and finished second in the slam dunk contest at the POWERADE Jam Fest…A consensus top 50 player in high school, McCallum was ranked as the No. 5 guard and the No. 17 overall recruit in the nation by ESPN, five stars, No. 6 guard and No. 23 overall by Scout.com and four stars, 43rd overall and the 12th-highest guard by Rivals.com…As a junior, he tallied 17.1 points, 6.1 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals for DCD and the first of his back-to-back All-Conference accolades…Played AAU with Team Detroit along with Trey Zeigler, another nationally-ranked recruit that signed to play with his dad at Central Michigan…Invited and participated in a number of prestigious all-star events such as the Derby Festival Basketball Classic, LeBron James Skills Academy, adidas Nations, adidas Super 64 Showcase and the NIKE Global Challenge…Played his first two years as a prep for Bloomington (IN) North and was selected to the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association (IBCA) All-State underclassmen as a sophomore...
