- Came back from an early season injury to take part in four varsity races on the season, scoring in two of them
- Made his official season debut at the Greater Louisville Classic registering a 27:47 for 292nd overall
- Tallied his 8k season best of 26:48 for 19th at the Canisius Alumni Classic
- The fourth Titan in at the Horizon League Championship placing 19th with a 27:06
- Posted a time of 34:30 for 182nd at the 6k NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship
Prior To Detroit
- A junior college transfer that will have three years of eligibility in track and field and two in cross country
- Was a NJCAA cross country qualifier as a freshman and sophomore and was also a 10,000-meter qualifier in track in 2016
- Earned All-Academic All-American in cross country in both years
- Finished 17th in the nation in the 2016 NJCAA 10k track and field championships
- A marathon runner, he has taken part in three events clocking a 2:57:50 time in the 2013 Glass City Marathon, a 2:49:31 in the 2014 Boston Marathon and a 2:58.44 in the 2016 Charlevoix Marathon
High School
- Earned four varsity letters in cross country, two in soccer and golf and one in bowling and track and field
- Helped his cross country team win a state championship in 2011
- The Bulldogs also won four league championships from 2010-2013 and three regional titles from 2010-2012
- Tabbed All-Academic All-Conference all four years
- In soccer, his team won two league championships and a regional title
- A member of the National Honor Society and the Leadership Team.
