2012: Did not participate in any races earning a redshirt.

High School: Earned four letters in cross country and track…A four time state qualifier in cross country... He was tabbed All-Catholic as a sophomore, junior and senior and helped his team to a sectional championship in 2010…In track and field, he qualified in Michigan's Division 4 championship in the 1600-meters and the 3200m in 2010, 2011, and 2012...Won the regional title in the 1600m as a junior and senior as well as the 3200m in 2011…Also as a junior, he was part of the 4x800-meter relay team that claimed a regional title and qualified for the state championship…A seven-time All-Catholic honoree with three accolades in the 4x800m (2010, 2011, 2012), and a pair in the 1600m (2011, 2012) and 3200m (2011, 2012).

Personal: Son of Sue and Chris Sutton... An only sibling... Majoring an architecture.
