Dalton Amez joins the Detroit Mercy men's soccer staff as a student manager in 2018-19 after playing for the Titans during the 2017 season.
Amez started 16 of 19 games for Detroit Mercy in 2017, ranking third on the team with six points on two goals and two assists and also ranking third on the team among midfielders/forwards in minutes played (1,231).
Amez scored a goal in the quarterfinals of the HL Championship and converted on a PK as Detroit Mercy advanced past Milwaukee to the semifinals. Following the tournament, he was selected to the Horizon League All-Tournament Team.
Prior to playing for the Titans, Amez spent three seasons for Division II Northwood in Midland, Mich., where he was voted to the GLIAC All-Tournament Team twice in 2015 and 2016. He started 50 out of 51 career matches and helped the Timberwolves to two GLIAC Tournament championships and one regular season GLIAC title.
He's a 2013 graduate of Chippewa Valley High School and is majoring in Business Administration at the University of Detroit Mercy.
