Nicholi LaRocca joined the University of Detroit Mercy men's soccer staff as a volunteer assistant coach in August 2017 prior to the 2017-18 school year.
He enters his second year with the Titans in 2018-19.
LaRocca was a head coach for the Michigan Northville Rush Academy from 2013-16 and assistant coach to four teams (U-9 through U-12) during those years. He currently the Northville Rush U17 boys assistant coach and head coach for the Rush U8 boys and Nero U8 boys teams.
He was an volunteer assistant coach for his alma mater, Madonna University, in 2015 and is a ODP player evaluator.
While a player at Madonna, LaRocca started 49 of 55 games played and tallied three goals and four assists for 10 points in his career. He was a two-time Daktronics-NAIA Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete as a junior and senior.
The Clinton Township native was a high school standout at Chippewa Valley and Warren De La Salle before playing collegiately for the Crusaders.
He holds a Michigan State Youth Soccer Association (MSYSA)Â "E" License.
