2011: Played in two games starting both... Played in Michigan (Sept. 14) contest and also Butler (Oct. 29)... Named to 2011 UDM Athletic Director's Honor Roll... Named to 2012 Horizon League Spring Academic Honor Roll.

2010: Played in three games with one start for the Titans… Made his first appearance of the season against Green Bay (Oct. 3)… Moved into the starting lineup the next game against Western Michigan (Oct. 6)… Took his lone shot of the season against IPFW (Oct. 17).

2009: Saw action in two home games against Loyola (Oct. 31) and UIC (Nov. 7)… Also played in the game at Xavier (Sept. 18).

Prep: 2008 graduate of Homestead High School… Four year varsity letterwinner in soccer… Finished 2007 with 12 goals and 10 assists despite a season ending injury… Earned all-tournament team honors senior year… Named to the All-Homestead Tournament Team in 2006… Earned all-league first team honors sophomore season… Tabbed as De Anza League Midfielder of the Year in 2005… Garnered all-league second team honors in 2004... Named De Anza League Freshman of the Year… Finished career at HHS with 24 goals and 48 assists… Played club soccer with Chivas FC for three years… Chivas was Premier League Champions in 2006 and Youth National Futsal Champions the previous season.

Personal: Son of Julio and Carmen Castillo… Has two siblings: Daniel and Amanda… Majoring in business.
