Prior to Detroit: Attended Seaholm High School where he earned four varsity letters ... Was named All-League twice and racked up a career total of 33 goals and 19 assists for the Maples ... Served as the team captain his senior year and led the team with 15 goals and seven helpers while taking home All-League, All-District and All-State honors ...  In 2012, tallied 13 goals and added eight assists as his team earned an OAA Blue Conference Championship ... Also played for the club team Vardar for three years and with the Vardar FC Freiburg Academy for one year.
