2025-26 Indoor:

• Started his collegiate career taking 15th in the 300m in 36.13, ninth in the 60mH at 8.56, and running a leg on the third-place 4x400 at Notre Dame's Blue & Gold Invite
• Claimed second in the 60mH at the SVSU Classic
• Posted a time of 36.12 for seventh and was also seventh on the 60mH in 8.58, while running on the third-place 4x400 at EMU's Bob Parks Memorial
• Finished fourth in the 60mH with a time of 8.39 and ran a leg on the runner-up 4x400 at Michigan's Silverston Invite
• Scored in the Horizon League Championships, taking seventh in the 60mH in 8.51 - after a career-best and the sixth-best time in school history at 8.30 in the prelims - while running a leg on the sixth-place 4x400 and seventh-place distance medley relay

Prior to Detroit Mercy:

• A four-year letterwinner in track and field
• A two-time team MVP
• Tallied the most points for the team for three straight years
• Was All-State on the 4x400-meter relay as a junior and senior and All-State in the 110-meter hurdles as a senior
• Won the 300mH at the regionals as a senior and also ran the 400mH at the New Balance Nationals
• Ran club with the Motor City Track Club and was a four-time All-American

Personal:

• Son of Brandy and Angelo Finnie
• His dad won 10 Horizon League titles between the long jump and triple jump as a Titan and helped the team to a share of the conference championship as a senior on the 2003 HL Outdoor Championship team 
• Has a younger sister
• Chose Detroit Mercy because of the academics
• An Engineering major
