• Detroit Mercy Athletic Director's Honor Roll (2024)

• Ran in one race as he was a part of the winning 4x400 at the Chippewa Challenge

• Started his collegiate career taking 22nd in the 60-meters in 7.19
• Was 10th in the 400m (52.30) and 16th in the 200m (22.88) at the SVSU Classic
• Placed sixth in the 300m (36.09) and 13th in the 60m (7.19) at EMU's Bob Parks Memorial
• Set his season-best in the 400m in 50.55 for 11th at the Akron Invite
• Was on the winning 4x400 at Michigan's Silverston Invitational
• Posted a season-best 7.16 in the 60m for 12th and was also 12th in the 200m (23.05) and ran a leg on the third-place 4x400 at the Horizon League Championships

• Earned letters in cross country and track and field
• Named the MVP as a senior and the Scholar-Athlete as a sophomore
• Ran club with Prime Time Performance
• A 2024 Michigan D1 regional medalist in the 4x100-meter relay

• Son of Anne and Todd Shaya
• Has an older brother who runs runs cross country and track at Northwood and an older sister
• His uncle attended the University 
• Chose Detroit Mercy because of the medical program and the coaching staff 
• A Biology major
