• Started his collegiate career placing ninth in the weight (13.99m) and 14th in the shot put (12.26m) at Notre Dame's Blue & Gold Invite
• Was fifth in the weight with a throw of 14.32m at the SVSU Classic
• Posted a season-high 13.55m toss in the shot put for third and a throw of 13.44m in the weight for fifth at Michigan's Silverston Invitational
• Finished 13th in the weight with a season-best 14.37m at the Horizon League Championships

• A four-year letterwinner in track and field
• Was the Bay County discus champion as a sophomore, junior and senior and the shot put champion as a junior and senior
• All-State in the discus as a senior placing sixth as well as a D2 MHSAA state qualifier earning 10th as a junior
• Holds the discus school record
• A member of the National Honor Society

• Has an older brother, who also threw in college, and a younger sister
