Simon Jones '25 joined his alma mater as a student-assistant coach in the fall of 2025.
The former multi-athlete left a legacy of success in competition and in the classroom. He was a member of the Horizon League All-Academic Team for indoor and outdoor track and field and earned CSC Academic All-District as a senior in 2025.
He ended his career earning fifth in the decathlon with 5,071 points as well as eighth in the javelin (44.10m) at the Horizon League Championships, while also tallying a score of 5,641 - fourth in the Titan record book - in the decathlon with career marks in the 100m (11.19) and the 110mH (17.76) at the Davenport Invitational.
In the indoor campaign, he was fifth in the heptathlon with 4,223 points - fourth in school history - garnering career marks in the 60m (7.28), shot put (11.33m), and high jump (1.67m) at the Horizon League meet.
He prepped at Divine Child and is currently pursuing his MBA.
