2026 Outdoor:

• Recorded two school records in the outdoor campaign
• Earned 11th and broke his own rookie 5,000m record by finishing 11th in 14:20.28, second in school history, at the Bison Outdoor Classic
• Registered another Titan rookie record with his second-place effort of 3:53.78 in the 1,500m, fifth overall in Titan history, at Oakland's Elaine Leigh Invite
• Ran 14:41.60 for seventh in the 5,000m at the Drake Relays
• Scored in the 5,000m at the Horizon League Championships by taking eighth in 14:36.73

2025-26 Indoor:

• Tallied three school records in the indoor season
• Won his first collegiate race, taking the 3,000m at the SVSU Classic in 8:40.29
• Set a Titan rookie record in the 5,000m at Notre Dame's Meyo Invitational as he finished eighth with a time of 4:30.23
• Broke another rookie record by claiming ninth in the mile at the Michigan Invitational in 4:14.68, and then lowered it at the Silverston Invite to 4:11.97 for fifth in the race and sixth in Titan history
• Garnered a silver in the 3,000m as he crossed the finish line in 8:21.57, the third-best run in the school record book and the best by a rookie, at the GVSU Big Meet
• Scored in the 5,000m at the Horizon League championships, clocking 14:27.26

Prior To Detroit Mercy:

• A four-year letterwinner in cross country and track
• Tabbed All-State in cross country three times, finishing 25th as a sophomore, ninth as a junior, and fourth as a senior
• Was also a three-time All-Catholic and All-Press & Guide in cross country, including first-place finishes at the regionals and the Catholic League Championships as a junior and senior
• Was All-State five times in track, including back-to-back in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters as a junior and senior, and on the 4x800 as a sophomore

• Son of Patricia and Guy Murray
• His dad is the current cross country and track and field coach, ran cross country and track for the Titans, and was the 1989 President's Award winner
• His mom ran cross country and track at Eastern Michigan
• Has an older sister, Kaitlin, who ran cross country and track for the Titans from 2019-2023
• Has a cousin who runs cross country and track at Loyola Chicago
• Chose Detroit Mercy because he has been around the campus since he was a kid, and it felt like an excellent opportunity to run here too
