2026 Outdoor:

• Clocked 51.23 for 10th in the 400m and helped the 4x400 to a win at Oakland's Golden Grizzlies Invite
• Tallied a season-low 50.42 for second in the 400m and 23.19 for 12th in the 200m at the Chippewa Challenge
• Posted a time of 52.03 for eighth in the 400m and ran a leg on the third-place 4x400 at Oakland's Elaine Leigh Invite

2025-26 Indoor:

• Started his collegiate career with a run of 51.73 in the 400m for 19th at Notre Dame's Blue & Gold Invitational
• Was 12th in the 300m in 37.35 and was part of the third-place 4x400 at EMU's Bob Parks Memorial
• Clocked 52.09 for 17th and ran a leg on the runner-up 4x400 at Michigan's Silverston Invite

Prior to Detroit Mercy:

• Lettered in basketball and track and field
• A two-time team MVP
• A two-time state qualifier
• Earned All-State as a junior and senior in the DMR
• Also a two-time All-Conference honoree in the 400-meters
• Won the 400m at the sectional championships as a junior
• Helped his quartet set the school's 4x800 record
• Named the Most Improved Athlete as a sophomore
• Ran club with the Gary Steelers Track Club and was a two-time Junior Olympic regional qualifier and posted a top 150 time in the nation for the indoor 600m
• A member of the National Honor Society

• Son of Afua and Quarshie Awuah
• Has an older brother
• Chose Detroit Mercy because it offered a loving and family-like environment where he could grow not just as a great athlete, but as a great person     
• A Biology major
