2025 Outdoor:

  • A part of the second-place 4x100 and 4x400 at Oakland's Golden Grizzly Invite
  • Ran a career-best 50.36 in the 400m for fifth and was on the winning 4x400 and third-place 4x100 at the Chippewa Challenge
  • Claimed second in the 200m (22.21) and was on the third-place 4x100 and 4x100 at the Don Kleinow Memorial InvitationalĀ 
  • Clocked PR's in the 100m (10.83) and 200m (22.08) for 10th and 11th, respectively, as well as scoring on the third-place 4x100 and seventh-place 4x400 at the Horizon League Championships


2024-25 Indoor:Ā 

  • Posted a career-best 6.98 in the 60m for seventh and a time of 22.47 in the 200m for fifth at Notre Dame's Blue & Gold Invitational
  • Took fourth in the 200m (22.71) and was part of the runner-up 4x400m at EMU's Bob Parks Memorial
  • Scored on the third-place 4x400 at the Horizon League Championships


2024 Outdoor:

  • Ran a leg on the first-place 4x100 and 4x400 at the Chippewa Challenge
  • Claimed sixth in the 100m in 11.27 and was part of the runner-up 4x100 at Oakland's Elaine Leigh Invite
  • Set a PR in the 100m preliminary clocking 11.09 and was part of the third-place 4x100 at the Horizon League Championships


2023-24 Indoor:

  • Made his collegiate debut, registering 22.92 for seventh in the 200m and 7.20 for 12th in the 60m at Notre Dame's Blue & Gold Invitational
  • Set a season-best in the 60m running 7.14 for 10th at the SVSU Classic

Prior To Detroit Mercy:
  • Earned varsity letters in football and track and field
  • A member of the 2022 MHSAA Division 1 4x100 and 4x200-meter relay champions and a bronze in the 4x400 as Detroit Jesuit won the team championship
  • A 2022 regional scorer in the 100 and 200-meters
  • Tabbed All-Catholic as a sophomore and juniorĀ 
  • Ran club with the Michigan Accelerators and was a 2021 Nike All-American in the 4x200

  • Son of Andrea and Jesse Johnson
  • His father attended the University after playing football at Michigan, while his grandfather played semi-pro baseball
  • Has two younger brothers
  • Chose Detroit Mercy because it was close to home and the academics
