Dean Ristovski

Dean Ristovski joined the women's basketball staff in August of 2013 as an assistant coach and he brings numerous local ties to the Titan program.

“I am thrilled to announce the addition of Dean Ristovski to our coaching staff,” said head coach Autumn Rademacher. “Dean’s reputation in the area of player development and coaching in the Detroit Metropolitan area is outstanding."

Ristovski brings some extensive coaching experience to Dick Vitale Court with over 15 years on the sidelines for AAU, high school and junior high. He recently served as an assistant coach with the Sterling Heights Wizards AAU program working with the girl’s U-11 through U-16 teams since 2004.

“Coach Ristovski has worked directly with highly recruited student-athletes in the state of Michigan and has built many ties with high school and AAU coaches that will be beneficial to the UDM women’s basketball program,” said Coach Rademacher. “He has turned out a Michigan Miss Basketball (Madison Ristovski in 2012) and a Michigan Class C Player of the Year, who will be a freshman in the fall at UDM in Haleigh Ristovski, and we welcome Coach Ristovski to the Detroit Titan family and look forward to him contributing to the success of our program immediately.”

He was also an assistant coach at L'Anse Creuse North High School in Macomb from 2006-07 and served as head coach of the boys and girls program at University Liggett High School from 2000-06, where he won a District Boys Championship and was named the Metro Conference Coach of the Year.

Ristovski has worked a number of renowned camps including the Chauncey Billups MVP, AAU adidas All-Star Girls Invite, Grant Hill’s Summer Hoopla and Allan Houston’s All-Star Shooters Camp.

A 2008 graduate of Wayne State with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Ristovski is a certified Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) official and has been in that capacity since 1998. He has also worked at the Joe Dumars Fieldhouse in Shelby Township as a personal coach for basketball since 2000 and as a facility manager and program coordinator since 2007.
