Dominika Skrocka joined the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball staff as a graduate assistant in August 2021. She enters her first season as part of the LaTanya Collins'Â staff in 2021-22.
Skrocka, a native of Moscow, Russia, was a team co-captain during her senior season with the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). She played in 48 games overall for the Retrievers and made 51 3-pointers, while shooting 36% from behind the 3-point arc.Â
She transferred from Southwest Tennessee Community College, where she was also a captain and ranked second in the conference in 3-pointers made.
Skrocka is a two-time member of the Polish National Team, two-time Polish national champion and five-time Russian national champion. She had a 63-point game back in her home country of Russia.
Skrocka graduate from UMBC with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Financial Economics. She is currently pursuing her Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Detroit Mercy.
