Victoria Moreland joined the University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball staff in July 2019 as a graduate assistant. She enters her second year with the Titans for the 2020-21 school year.
She was a four-year member of the Pitt-Johnstown women's basketball team at the Division II level and was a three-year starter and two-year team captain. Moreland averaged 8.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game and started 69 of 92 games across her career, sinking 123 3-pointers as a Mountain Cat.
Her coaching experience includes as a counselor and coach at various youth basketball camps including the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Basketball Camp, Saint Francis Women's Basketball Camp, Ohio Girl Basketball Report Exposure camp, Berlin Hiland Basketball Camp and New Philadelphia Girls Basketball Camp.
She was a volunteer assistant coach for Berlin Hiland High School in 2018, Team Hudl AAU in 2018 and New Philadelphia High School from 2015-18.
Moreland, a native of New Philadelphia, Ohio, is a 2019 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a Bachelor's of Education degree in Secondary Math Education. She was a member of the Dean's List (3.5+ GPA) in each semester eligible in all four years of college.
She's a member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and has attended the NCAA Women's Basketball Final Four Convention.
