- Hughes finished Top-25 along with three teammates at the 32nd Running Fit- Detroit Mercy Titans Invitational with a time of 19:47
- Hughes just missed out on the top 100, finishing 108th with an overall time of 20:29 at the National Catholic Championship
- Set a new personal record with her time of 19:45 at the Louisville Classic
- Broke the top-12 finishing in eleventh at the Canisius Alumni Classic
- Took 38th at the Horizon League Cross-Country Championships with a time of 23:19
- Hughes was once again named to the Horizon League All-Academic team. This is the second consecutive year that she has received the honor
2017:
- Raced in five of the seven races in her sophomore season
- Set a new personal record in the 5k at the Greater Louisville Classic with a time of 20:08
- Placed 187 at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships
2016:
- Participated in all seven races and was in the scoring five twice
- Lowered her 5k time throughout the year with her best effort running 20:12 for 28th at the Canisius Alumni Classic
- Took 75th at the Horizon League Championship in 26:08
- Scored as the fifth Titan at the 6k NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championship claiming 197th overall in 24:22
- Earned the Felbarth Memorial Award at the University Honors Convocation, presented to the freshman engineering student with the highest grade in Engineering Graphics
- Selected the team's Rookie of the Year
High School:
- Earned four varsity letters in cross country and three in track and field at Salem High School
- A team captain as a junior and senior and won the captain award as a senior
- Owns the 11th fastest 5k time in school history with a 19:20 as a senior
- Helped her team qualify for the Division 1 state championships in cross country in 2013, 2014 and 2015 and was an individual state qualifier as a senior
- Was also a state qualifier in track as part of the 4x800-meter relay as a sophomore
- In her final prep season, she was a regional medalist in the 1,600-meters and 3,200-meters
