2013: Battled through some injuries to take part in four races… Her season-low 5k was at Notre Dame’s National Catholic Championship as she was 77th in 20:07… Placed 29th at the 27th Annual Running Fit-Detroit Titan Invitational with a run of 20:29… Ended her season at the Horizon league Championship in 21:32 for 71st place… Just the 30th runner in school history to receive four varsity letters… Selected to the Detroit Athletic Director's Honor Roll and the Horizon League Fall Academic Honor Roll... Also a part of the Detroit Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
2012: Ran in six of Detroit’s nine races…Started the year with a personal record in the 4k clocking a time of 15:51 for 13th at the Golden Grizzly Open… Was 39th in the Running Fit-Detroit Titan Invitational in 20:45… Posted a time of 20:09 for 145th at the National Catholic Championship… Tabbed to the Detroit Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.
2011: Injury plagued season... Season-best 5k time of 20:52 came at the Running Fit-Detroit Titan Invite... 80th place finish at the Horizon League Championships.
2010: Named team Rookie of the Year... Set a 5k PR at the Louisville Classic with a time of 19:46 which landed her in 89th place... Finished the Running-Fit Detroit Titan Invite in 22nd place with a time of 20:51... Ran 20:17 at the Horizon League Championship, placing 54th overall... Set a 6k PR at Penn State with a time of 24:39... Ended the year placing 223rd at the NCAA Regionals with a time of 26:05.
High School: A state qualifier in cross country as a junior and senior, while running on the 4x800 meter relay team, which also had back-to-back state qualifying appearances.
Personal: Daughter of Cathleen and Edward Hofsess...Her brother, Ryan, is a sophomore on the Titan cross country and track & field teams... A nursing major.
