University of Detroit Mercy Athletics

Stanna Stoner is a volunteer assistant and director of operations for the University of Detroit Mercy men's and women's fencing programs.

She is entering her third season assisting the program.

Stoner fenced competitively in sabre for 10 years, taking first place at the Great Lakes Championships in 2002 and 2003.

She served as manager of the Renaissance Fencing Club from 2005-15.

Stoner has a moniteur coaching certificate in sabre from the United State Fencing Coaches Association.
