Named the Team MVP for the second-straight season after leading the squad with 56 bout victories.
Placed 18th at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship.
Led the Titans at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championship, placing in a tie-for-14th in foil, going 8-1 on the day.
Went nearly undefeated at the Army Duals, posting a 17-1 mark.
Earned double-digit victories at the Detroit Mercy Invitational (10 wins) and Notre Dame's DeCicco Duals (10 wins).
Finished on the podium, placing second and earning a silver medal at the season-opening Danosi Open at Wayne State.
Named First Team All-Decade of the 2010s, among four women's foilists selected.

2018-19

In first year of collegiate fencing, named women's Team MVP at year-end banquet.
Led the Titan women's squad in victories during the season, notching a team-high 62 during the regular season (62-27 mark).
Had the most 5-0 victories on either team, tallying 23 during the season.
Finished 14th overall at the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship.
Placed 22nd individually in foil at the Midwest Fencing Conference Championship.
Earned a bronze medal at the season-opening Danosi Open, placing third in foil.

Full name is Manal Talal Shaito.
Daughter of Kimberly and Talal Shaito.
Has five siblings, Zain, Mai, Mona, Malak and Samar.
Three of her siblings, Zain, Mai and Mona, fenced collegiately at Ohio State, with all three reaching the NCAA Championships and Zain winning the men's foil individual title in 2012. Zain and Mona also competed in the Olympics for Lebanon.
Born in Detroit, Mich.
Among her hobbies is horseback riding.
Major is Pre-Dental Hygiene.
