She was named to the All-Horizon League first team in 2011 leading the team in points and sharing the team lead in goals. In her freshman year, she took home All-Horizon League Newcomer Team honors.

McCollum earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology and is now pursuing a master's degree in intelligence analysis at UDM.
