Abby McCollum returns for her second season as a graduate assistant coach in 2015-16. McCollum was a four-year letterwinner for the Titans from 2010-13.
McCollum finished her Titan career playing 68 games and scoring 17 goals with 14 assists. She finished her career 11th all-time in Detroit women's soccer history with 48 points.
While with Detroit, McCollum helped UDM to a 25-5-2 home at Titan Field and in those games outscored opponents 74-11. Five of her goals were game-winners.

"I want to help this team win a Horizon League Championship and I want to focus my efforts on that," said McCollum after being introduced as a graduate assistant coach in 2014.
In her first season as a graduate assistant coach, McCollum assisted a team that finished second in the Horizon League and reached the conference championship game for the first time since 2006.

McCollum helped the Titans to four straight Horizon League Semifinal appearances. In 2012, the Titans captured a share of the regular season title for just the second time in the history of the women's soccer program at Detroit. McCollum garnered All-Horizon League second team recognition in that 2012 campaign tying for the team lead in goals and points. She was named to the All-Horizon League first team in 2011 leading the team in points and sharing the team lead in goals. In her freshman year, she took home All-Horizon League Newcomer Team honors.

McCollum earned her bachelor's degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology and is now pursuing a master's degree in intelligence analysis at UDM.
