Summary

Biography

One of the comeback stories in the Horizon League after rebounding from a torn ACL as a freshman and missing all of the 2006 season to finish second on the team in scoring in 2007...Named a team captain prior to the season.

2007 - Sophomore:
The Titans’ Offensive Player of the year, Kiely finished second on the team with 12 points and five goals, while topping the Titans with two assists…Tied for the team lead in shots (26) and shots on goal (17), and was tied for fifth in Horizon League action with two assists…First goal of the season came at IPFW in a 4-0 victory…Hit the back of the net for her second tally of the season against Montana…Netted her first multi-goal game with two markers in a 4-0 victory over Youngstown State…Also added a score against in-state rival Oakland…Her two helpers came in key situations as she fed Trina Kochanski for a game-tying goal at Cleveland State and Lauren Moss for the Titans’ go-ahead goal verses Green Bay…Named to the Horizon League Academic and the UDM Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

2006 - Redshirt Freshman:
Missed the entire 2006 season while rehabbing from Nov., 2005 knee surgery.

2005 - Freshman:
Started all 10 games she appeared in before tearing her ACL against Green Bay...Picked up her first career goal and assist in her first collegiate game against DePaul at the Boilermaker Challenge Cup...Had the assist on Rachel Stesney’s game winner and then took a pass from Stesney for the game’s second goal...Had a goal and an assist in the Titans’ 2-2 tie at Michigan State...Her 0.30 assist-per-game average ranked her fourth in the league...Named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll.

Prior to Detroit:
Three-time team MVP, WECSAA All-City and AAAA Windsor Star All-Star selection at St. Anne’s Secondary...Team won three WECSSAA and two WOSSAA championships...Also a three-time State Cup MVP with the highly-rated Vardar III club team.
