Biography

2009 - Junior: A second team All-Horizon League performer as well as UDM’s Offensive Player of the Year…Finished her junior campaign with a goal and an assist for three points, but was one of the Titans’ offensive weapons firing a team-high 35 shots on the season…That number was 10th in the HL…Started all 18 games for the red, white and blue…She notched an assist against a Michigan State squad which had only allowed one goal in five games prior to its meeting with Detroit...Her marker came as she found the back of the net at Butler...She also was second amongst Titans with 14 shots on goal and recorded a career-high eight shots, with four on net, against Cleveland State…A member of the UDM AD’s Honor Roll as well as a Horizon League Fall Academic Honor Roll recipient.

2008 - Sophomore: Led the team with 16 points on four goals and a team best eight assists…Her 16 points were tied for 10th in the Horizon League, while her eight helpers ranked sixth…She was also second on the team with 24 shots and third with 10 shots on goal…Started scoring right from the start netting goals in back-to-back games with the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over IUPUI and securing a Titan 2-0 win at Madonna…Her third tally of the season came off a penalty kick at Michigan State…Added another point on her first assist of the season at Youngstown State…Went on to record a pair of three-point performances with a career-high three assists against Cleveland State and a goal and a helper versus Valparaiso…Had her second multi assist game of the season setting up two goals against IPFW…Assisted on Archana Wadhawan’s goal in the Horizon Tournament setback at Butler…A member of the AD’s honor roll.

2007 - Freshman:
Played in 16 games with 13 starts…Finished third among teammates with with two goals and four points…Both of her goals came in UDM’s 4-0 victory over IPFW.

Prior to Detroit:
Played four years of soccer at St. Anne’s High School, winning team MVP honors in 2005, ‘06 and ‘07...The team won WECSSAA (city) and SWOSSAA (regional) championships in 2005 and 2006... Played soccer for the Ontario Provincial Team at the U15 and U16 levels...Was a Canada Summer Games bronze medalist in 2005...Won a State Cup title in 2006 and an 18-Under national championship with her club team, the Bloomfield Force, in 2007.

Personal:
Majoring in education and history...Is the daughter of James and Elaine Stanski...Has one brother, Daniel, and two sisters, Kayla and Natalja, a former midfielder on Grand Valley State’s soccer team.
