Angelina Jogasuria joins the University of Detroit Mercy tennis coaching staff in January of 2016.
Jogasuria comes to Detroit after spending the last season as a graduate assistant coach for the men’s and women’s tennis program at Tiffin University. With the Dragons, Jogasuria was responsible for practice planning, on-court coaching, racquet stringing and recruiting.
Prior to Tiffin, Jogasuria was a four-year member of the University of Akron women’s tennis team. With the Zips, she competed in regional and national tournaments, while receiving awards and recognitions in both academics and athletics. She was voted Most Valuable Player of the Year in 2013 for the Zips and served as a co-captain of the squad as a senior.
Jogasuria graduated from the University of Akron in 2014 and is currently pursuing a Master of Business degree from Tiffin University.
