Diana Ospina-Taylor brings professional experience as she just ended her fifth year as an assistant coach for the women's tennis team in 2014-15.
She has helped the Titans climb back to the top of the standings with five-straight trips to the Horizon League Championship semifinals, including a run to the title match this past season. The 2014-15 year also saw UDM set a school record with 16 overall victories and seven conference wins.
She has participated on the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) Tour for ten years achieving a world ranking of 231 twice in her career. She has competed in two Grand Slams, in the US Open and also the Australian Open. She has captured five International Tennis Federation (ITF) singles titles and was also part of one ITF doubles titles.
She also spent time teaching professionally at The Sports Club of West Bloomfield.
Ospina-Taylor is married to her husband, Brad.
