Career Highlights:

• Detroit Mercy Athletic Director's Honor Roll (2025)

2026 Outdoor:

• Claimed fourth in the 400m in 59.02 at Oakland's Golden Grizzlies Invite
• Won the 400m with a time of 58.53 at the Chippewa Challenge
• Earned another win in the 400m in 58.21 and was part of the runner-up 4x400 at Oakland's Elaine Leigh Invite
• Tallied a 400m win in 57.19 and was sixth in the 200m in 25.67 at the Don Kleinow Invite
• Scored at the Horizon League Championships, taking sixth in the 400m in 56.70, fifth in school history, and on the fourth-place 4x400, and posted the second-best time in the Titan record book at 3:49.93

2025-26 Indoor:

• Started her Titan career running 58.08 for fourth and on the fifth-place 4x400 at Notre Dame's Blue & Gold Invite
• Won the 400m in 59.26 and ran a leg on the winning 4x400 at the SVSU Classic
• Was fourth in the 400m in 59.36 and was part of the third-place 4x400 at EMU's Bob Parks Memorial
• Just missed scoring at the Horizon League Championships on the ninth-place 4x400

Prior To Detroit Mercy:

• A transfer from Ferris State, who tallied the second-best indoor 400-meter time and the third-best indoor 200m time and helped her team break the Bulldogs' 4x100 record
• Lettered in basketball, soccer, cross country and track and field in high school
• A two-time All-State selection in the 200m and 400m as well as All-State in the 100m
• Was All-Conference three times
• Set school records in the 100m, 200m and 800m

Personal:

• Daughter of Mary Hoekwater and Steve Winkle
• Has an older sister as well as two younger sister
• Chose Detroit Mercy because of the Clinical Psychology program                         
• Enrolled in the Clinical Psychology master's program
