Curtis Bell joined the Tita staff in 2020 as a part-time assistant and was elevated to an assistant coach and now in charge of the throwing unit in 2021-22.
Bell worked with the program in 2020-21 as an assistant, helping the pole vaulters and multi competitors, and received his throws certification from the USTFCCA.
He worked with McKendree University as a graduate assistant from 2019-2020 and was also a volunteer coach at Central Michigan from 2018-19, helping CMU win the 2019 indoor MAAC championship as well as a NCAA All-American in the long jump.
He also coached for four seasons at Aquinas Vault Academy in Grand Rapids, Michigan,
As a student-athlete at Aquinas College, he won three NAIA national titles in the pole vault.
Bell graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Aquinas College.
