Dr. Terrence Lock is the long time Team Orthopedic for the University of Detroit Mercy athletic department.
Dr. Lock is an Orthopedic Surgeon in the Sports Medicine Division of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital, and has worked in the Henry Ford Health System since 1990.
He attended Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan, and completed his post graduate training in Orthopedic Surgery at the Wayne State University affiliated hospitals. Dr. Lock then completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Lock has had extensive experience as a team physician at all levels including the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions.
He is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and has received his subspecialty certification in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
His areas of special interest are: knee surgery, ligament reconstruction, and shoulder surgery emphasizing arthroscopic instability and rotator cuff repair.
Dr. Lock see patients at the Center for Athletic Medicine (CAM) in Detroit and the Pierson Clinic in Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan.
