Evan Eding is in his first year as a graduate assistant for the men's and women's track and field program.
Eding was a four-year letterwinner from 2020-2024, where he was a four-time member of the Detroit Mercy Athletic Director's Honor Roll, a three-time member of the Horizon League Fall and Spring Academic Honor Rolls, and was selected to the Horizon League Indoor and Outdoor All-Academic Team as a senior.
As a senior, he claimed fourth at the Horizon League Indoor Championships in the triple jump with a career-best 13.66m, the seventh-best mark in school history, and was on the first-place 4x100-meter relay at the 2024 outdoor league meet.
A native of Zeeland, Michigan, he graduated from UDM in Engineering and is currently working on his master's degree.
