University of Detroit Mercy Athletics

Jason Clark joined the University of Detroit Mercy as the Director of Development in 2022. He spent his first three years working with the Business School and added the Athletic Department in the summer of 2025.

No stranger to collegiate athletics, he spent over 20 years at Wayne State, starting as an Assistant Athletics Director before being promoted to Associate Athletic Director. At WSU, he oversaw the operations for football, baseball, women's ice hockey, men's and women's fencing, and men's and women's swimming, as well as the University intramural program.

Prior to that, Clark worked at the Mid-American Conference, where he served as the Director of Administration. There, he coordinated all conference meetings and functions and was responsible for all Conference policies and procedures. Additionally, he served as the staff liaison for field hockey, wrestling, gymnastics, and softball.

He graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1997 and is married to a former WSU softball player, Rebecah Pierce, and has a son, Piercen, and a daughter, Lucy.
