Former Titan cheerleader, captain and assistant coach Jenn Muszynski was named the head coach of the University of Detroit Mercy cheerleading team in 2016.
Muszynski has more than 20 years of cheerleading experience back to her alma mater. She cheered for the Titans from 2004-09, including three years as a captain, and served as an assistant coach from 2010-13 at Detroit Mercy.
Away of the Titans cheer program, Muszynski served as an assistant cheer coach for Roseville High School from 2010-11, Chippewa Valley High School from 2011-13 and most recently at Lakeview High School since 2013. She was named MAC Gold Competitive Cheer Coach of the Year with Lakeview in 2015-16.
With each program, she has been responsible for running the programs, creating material and teaching proper technique, safety and skills.
"I am very excited to return to Detroit Mercy," said Muszynski. "I cannot wait to get started and help the program grow and reach new heights."
