University of Detroit Mercy Athletics

Kam Vaughn arrived in the Motor City in the summer of 2026 as a graduate assistant in the strength and conditioning department. 

He is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the NSCA and a certified personal trainer from the NASM. 

Before becoming a Titan, he interned at his alma mater, Maryland, working with Olympic sports. He has also been a personal trainer with the Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex and the University of Maryland Eppley Recreation Center. 

He graduated from Maryland with a degree in Kinesiology and is now studying for his MBA at UDM.
