Matt Kibby will serve as the play-by-play voice for the Detroit Mercy men's and women's soccer teams in 2024.
Kibby was a broadcast associate with the MLB/NHL Network from 2023-24, where he produced and edited assigned video elements, montages, and long-form content to be aired on MLB/NHL Network Emmy-winning shows and posted on various digital platforms. He generated MLB/NHL game highlights to be distributed on the network and with league partners and worked closely with supervising producers to promote strong narratives and deliver thought-out storytelling.
At Syracuse, he was the Director of Social Media for ACC Network Syracuse and also delivered play-by-play for a number of Orange broadcasts.
As an undergraduate at Adrian, he was the Director of Broadcasting for Adrian College Television, which produced over 250 broadcasts during his tenure. He was also the play-by-play voice for several Bulldogs' sports.
Kibby graduated with a degree in Communications from Adrian in 2022 and then earned his master's in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse in 2023.
