Amy Gasahl rejoined Titan athletics in January of 2022 as the Director of Student-Athlete Services and was promoted to the Director of NCAA Compliance in June of 2025. She had previously worked at Detroit Mercy from 2006-2015 with softball, compliance and academics.
She was the Assistant Director of NCAA Compliance/Academic Coordinator from 2006-2014 before being promoted to Director of Athletic Academics, Student Athlete Welfare & Eligibility in the summer of 2014. Her Detroit Mercy career began as an athletic administrative intern/volunteer assistant softball coach during the 2006-07 season.
In her past positions, Gasahl oversaw all of the Titans' academics, student welfare and eligibility. In addition, she served as the Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) advisor, the CHAMPS Life Skills Coordinator and also spearheaded all of the community service outreach for the student athletes. She was also a sports supervisor for softball and men's and women's tennis.
Gasahl graduated from Hillsdale College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and went on to receive her master's degree in sport administration from Bowling Green State University in 2006 and her MBA from Detroit Mercy in 2013. While at Hillsdale, she was a four-year starter for the Chargers softball squad.
