Eric Davis

Eric Davis was named the Director of Strength and Conditioning in May of 2022.  

He joined the Detroit Mercy staff in August 2019 as a Strength and Conditioning Graduate Assistant. He was promoted to Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach in July 2021 and to Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning in January of 2022. 

He previously had worked as an intern within the Titan Strength and Conditioning team in early 2019, assisting with the daily coaching and training of Division I student-athletes within the program.

Prior to joining the Titans, Davis was the Strength and Conditioning coach for the football squad at Manchester High School in Michigan, also assisting the football team as a defensive line coach and special teams co-coordinator from 2014-19.

Davis worked at Ann Arbor Pioneer High School in 2017 as an intern in the Strength and Conditioning program and was a Rehab Technician at ATI Physical Therapy in Saline, Michigan from Nov. 2015 through May 2018.

He played college football for Heidelberg University in Tiffin, Ohio in 2013-14 after he played in high school for Manchester as an offensive lineman, where he was Heritage All-Area and a two-time elected captain.

Davis, a Manchester native, earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Sport Performance with a minor in Fitness Entrepreneurship from Eastern Michigan University in April 2019. He is getting his Master's degree from the University of Detroit Mercy.

He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and is Adult, Child & Infant CPR and AED certified.
