Sophomore Kyri Jackson (Niagara Falls, N.Y.) captured gold in the heptathlon on Saturday of the 2018 Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championship. Jackson won with 4,429 points to earn 10 points for the Titans. She placed first in the 100m hurdles (14.87), 200m dash (25.27) and second in both the long jump (5.22m) and shot put (10.81m) during the seven heptathlon events. Jackson also placed fifth in the 100m hurdles on Sunday, crossing with a time of 14.81 and was part of two top-five relay teams -- the 4x400m and 4x100m relays.
