Freshman guard Antoine Davis (Birmingham, Ala.) averaged 32.7 points per game in helping lead the Titans to a 3-0 record last week. Davis set a new Titan freshman record with 42 points against Loyola on Monday in a victory, tying a school record with 10 made 3-pointers. He then scored 32 points the next night with eight treys in a triumph over Bowling Green and had 24 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in a win at Eastern Michigan on Saturday. Davis was 24-fo-38 from 3-point range (63.1 percent) last week and also averaged 6.0 assists and 5.3 rebounds for the 3-3 Titans. He ranks second in the nation in scoring at 30.0 points per game.
