Junior attackman Seth Mendell (Carmel, Ind.) tallied a hat trick in the Titans' season-opening 9-8 victory on Saturday over Jacksonville. Mendell had four points overall on the day, putting six of his seven shots on net. He added four ground balls and one caused turnovers. He had 19 goals and 27 points last season for Detroit Mercy.
