Men's soccer junior Demetri Pliakos (Rochester Hills, Mich.) scored the game-winning goal with 58 seconds left in a 1-0 road victory at Purdue Fort Wayne on Friday evening. Pliakos' first career game-winner came on a run inside the box in the 90th minute of the match. It punctuated a dominating effort from the Titans against the Mastodons. Detroit Mercy out-shot Purdue Fort Wayne, 20-5, and didn't allow a shot on goal in the shutout victory. Pliakos led the team with a season-high six shots.
