The University of Detroit Mercy men's soccer game against Butler has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 27 at the Butler Bowl in Indianapolis, with kick-off slated for 4 p.m. The Titans' home match-up against Western Michigan, scheduled for Tuesday, has been canceled.
In their last conference match-up, the Titans (3-10-1, 1-4 HL) dropped a 4-3 double overtime decision at Cleveland State on Oct. 18 and this past Wednesday the Titans fell at Oakland, 3-1. Sophomore

Butler (10-1-1, 3-0-1) heads into Saturday's contest having won four straight games, including a 3-1 victory over DePaul at home on Oct. 21. Butler is undefeated at home (4-0-0) and its lone loss of the season so far came at Ohio State on Sept. 18 by a score of 2-1. Senior forward Boris Gatzky leads the Bulldogs in goals (5), assists (6) and points (16).
In 2008, the Titans fell by a score of 3-1 against Butler at Titan Field on Halloween and the last time Detroit defeated the Bulldogs was on Oct. 13, 2006 when the Titans captured a 2-1 victory in Indianapolis. Detroit is 7-18-1 all-time against Butler.
Following Tuesday's match-up, the Titans will host Loyola at noon on Halloween.
