MAKING IT COUNT
Sophomore
Sierra Spaude was subbed back into the game with 28 seconds left in regulation against Valpo on Jan. 21 and, five seconds later, she made a crucial basket from beyond the arc to pull Detroit within two, which eventually helped force overtime with the Crusaders.
EXTRA SESSION
The Titans have played in three overtime games in head coach Autumn Rademacher's tenure and Detroit owns a 2-1 mark in these games, including last Thursday night's 72-70 victory over the Crusaders. The other victory came in double overtime at Eastern Michigan on Dec. 20 (76-75).
STEALING FOR THE BETTER
Sophomore
Jalesa Jones has a good heart, but when it comes to stealing on the court, no one could hold her back against Valpo on Jan. 21 as she collected a career-high and game-best six steals. One of them was critical in setting up the game-tying basket by sophomore
Yar Shayok in the closing seconds of regulation.

Jalesa Jones and
Lauren Allen played every minute against the Crusaders on Jan. 21. This ties a personal-best for Allen and sets a career-high for Jones in this category.
DOUBLIN' UP, TIMES FIVE
Four players scored in double figures for Detroit on Jan. 28, which marks the sixth time this season that at least four athletes have scored in double figures. The five other times this occurred was: Oakland (Nov. 13), Morehead State (Dec. 13), Colgate (Dec. 30), Wright State (Jan. 3) and Milwaukee (Jan. 21). The Titans own a 5-1 record in those games, with the lone loss coming at Morehead State.
TEN PLUS FIVE
Freshman

“2000, ZERO, ZERO...”
The last time Detroit had a great start to conference play was during the 1999-2000 season when it was the MCC. The Titans opened up conference play on Jan. 13 with a 70-56 loss against Green Bay and then went on to win six straight: Milwaukee (71-68), UIC (81-73), Loyola (88-73), Wright State (48-33), Butler (76-64) and Cleveland State (91-83), with the sixth victory happening on Feb. 5.

In addition, Mulroy missed only one attempt all night as she had a 5-of-6 showing from the field and she also made both attempts at the line to end with a game second-best 17 points.

I'LL TAKE THREE OF THOSE
Two points wasn't enough for sophomore
Lauren Allen, so she sank one from long range with 30 seconds left in the game against Milwaukee (Jan. 7) to help lift the Titans to their third-straight win.
RUNNING FROM THE LAW
When we were young, we were taught that it's not okay to steal, but there's an exception and sophomore

MORE MULROY
Mulroy opened the 2009-10 campaign with a team third-best 14-point effort in Detroit's 74-65 win at Oakland on Nov. 13 and, two days later, in UDM's home opener, she shot 8-of-11 from the field, including 4-of-5 from long range, and made all seven attempts at the line to end with a career-high and game-best 27 points versus #10 Michigan State. The eight made field goals matches her career-high and the seven free throws is a personal best for Detroit's lone senior.
DOUBLE OR NOTHING
Sophomore
Yar Shayok made a huge impact for the Titans against Oakland on Nov. 13 as she collected a double-double with game-highs in both points and rebounds with 26 and 14, respectively.
LAST TIME OUT

The tone was set early on as senior
Brigid Mulroy, who ended with a game second-best 15 points, hit one from beyond the arc just 12 seconds into the game, the first of 11 treys Detroit netted on the night to set a new season-high of 3-pointers made in a single contest.
The Titans dominated the entire contest, leading by double digits from the 16:33 mark (12-2) on and they had their largest lead of the first stanza with just over four minutes remaining after freshman
Demeisha Fambro netted a 3-pointer with help from Spaude to put the score at 31-9.
YSU sophomore Makala Gasparek made two free throws in the closing seconds, but UDM had a 19-point advantage at the break (36-17). The 17 points is the least amount of points an opponent has been held to in an opening half in head coach Autumn Rademacher's tenure.
Sophomore
Yar Shayok, who collected her fifth double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 caroms, added two points early on in the second half for the Titans to put the score at 41-19. Fambro sank one from long range off an assist from sophomore
